This station, a U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey standard bench mark disk, is located in New London, NH. It is set in a large boulder opposite NH Rt.11 from the southernmost junction of Elkins Road; the boulder is near the southeast side of Rt.11. The NHDOT datasheet description is as follows:
THE STATION IS LOCATED IN NEW LONDON.TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE ROUTE 11 AND STATE ROUTE ||4 IN NEW LONDON, GO NORTHEAST FOR 1.1 MI (1.8 KM) ON ROUTE 11 TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT.THE STATION IS A STANDARD USCGS DISK STAMPED--P-24 RESET 1964--, SET INTO THE TOP OF A 16-FT X 10-FT X 5-FT HIGH BOULDER, 5.0 FT (1.5 M) BELOW THE CENTER OF ROUTE 11. 100 FT (30.5 M) NORTHEAST FROM THE JUNCTION OF ELKINS ROAD AND ROUTE 11, 70.0 FT (21.3 M) SOUTHEAST FROM THE CENTER OF ROUTE 11, 35.0 FT (10.7 M) WEST NORTHWEST FROM THE NORTH CORNER OF A STONE WALL, AND 46.5 FT (14.2 M) SOUTH SOUTHWEST FROM A 2-FT CONCRETE PIPE.
