The loaf of bread represents Manaia's local bakery industry, Yarrows Family Bakers, which employs around 250 people, and has been the main business in Manaia since 1923.The company manufactures fresh and frozen breads and bakery products. We think their Hot Cross Buns are the best in the country!!
