From the intersection with Smith Rock Way in Terrebonne, travel generally N on US97 for about 0.6 miles. Turn left on Lower Bridge Road and continue for roughly 4.8 miles. Turn right on NW Quail Road and continue for 1.2 miles. Turn left on NW Ice Avenue, which becomes NW Steelhead Drive, and continue for 1.3 miles to the corner on the left.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 620 feet W from the centerline of the road. In 2004, W.C. Kauffman established two bearing trees, each marked with a yellow tag and with a nail and brass washer stamped COUNTY SURVEYOR; additionally he set two 1-1/2" aluminum reference caps, roughly N and S of the corner, each about 10 feet distant.


What property is this mark defining?:
The quarter corner was set in 1973 during the Crooked River Ranch No. 5 survey over T14S R12E SECS 2 3 11. The Deschutes County Surveyors Office survey number is CS06488. Also see, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1715.
