The window is by E. Baillie and G. Mayer and dates to 1854 when the church was built for Col. Waugh. The story of Christ is depicted with The Crucifixion and The Resurrection.

There are other small, circular panes of stained glass with bright patterns.

St Mary's Church was built in 1853-4 for Col. Waugh who purchased the island in the hope of finding China clay.
