Located in Tijuana's largest park, Parque Morelos, this zoo has no particular entrance. Animal exhibits are spread throughout the park and feature some domesticated animals... pigs, goats, deer as well as wild bears, lions, jaguars, tigers, monkeys, birds, a butterfly house.
This sculpture has a sign which explains that the figure is a Huastecan figure with a conical hat that displays a skull and large ears. The sign also indicates that the figure may represent the god of the aurora... but that doesn't seem to be a positive identification...nor could the name of such a god be found.
