The post office is an attractive building of obvious historical value however I have been unable to find any references to it. It is well maintained, has attractive gardens, a residence & a well kept War memorial next door. It offers a full range of services.
Emmaville is a small town west of Deepwater yet has facilities equal to that of many larger centres. There are two hotels, general store, garage, a modern 17 bed hospital, public school, swimming pool, caravan park & the post office which includes a school bus run.
Emmaville was the birth place of the St John's Ambulance & the first medical benefits fund in Australia was established here.
