This World War II Monument is right beside the Annapolis Royal Library on St. George Street between St Anthony Street and St James Street in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.

The monument was placed by the British Empire Service League Canadian Legion right beside the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Townhall (
visit link) which is now the Annapolis Royal Library.
The monument is a brass plaque on a six-foot tall stone cairn. It's a small grassy area between the road and the parking lot. To the south and east of the parking lot is the Fort Anne National Historic Site.
The monument has the emblem of the British Empire Service League Canadian Legion on top and reads:
1938 1945
In grateful memory
of those who made
the supreme sacrifice
in World War II
They served until death
