Cenfic is a Professional training centre for the Contruction Industry in the south of Portugal.
Cenfic was created in 12th June 1987 as the result of a protocol between the Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional (Portuguese Institute for Employment), Associação Nacional de Empreiteiros de Obras Públicas (National Association of Public Works Contractors), Associação dos Industriais da Construção de Edifícios (Association of Building Construction Industrials) and Associação de Empresas de Construção e Obras Públicas (Association of Construction Companies and Public Works).
With an area of ??45,000 m2, this space is devoted to the preparation of new professionals for the Construction Industry featuring an integrated set of infrastructure among which stands out: an auditorium with capacity for 180 people, an auditorium with capacity for 54 people, 16 training rooms, 5 computer rooms, one computer design room , one surveying a room, one socialising room, refectory, bar, medical Post, multisport area, warehouse, tools room, Equipment Maintenance, Knowledge Resource Center and Venues for Training and Practice Tests.
