First and foremost a sancturary, but with wonderful large exhibits of animals in their native habitat, including deer and wolves, otters, and numerous birds of prey and water fowl. And, it's free!

The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is located in a restored lowland near the shores of the Bay of Green Bay, and across the street from Bay Beach Amusement Park. In addition to the great wildlife viewing and the 6+ miles of hiking trails, the excellent natural habitat enclosures, and up-to-date physical physical facilites, the sanctuary has numerous programs and classes available.
The wolf exhibit is exceptional: a large indoor viewing area with floor-to-ceiling windows and educational exhibits; a grassland with rock oucroppings (an acre?) with viewing from all angles of the half a dozen wolves; and, one of the trails runs right along the fence along the back.
