"Federal Building, also known as the Old Post Office, is a historic office building located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It is a four story, Richardsonian Romanesque style structure with an inner court and tower. It was built between 1885 and 1889 of heavy brown sandstone with a metal skeleton. It was expanded in 1893 and in 1907. The building was designed in part by noted architect Harvey Ellis under the Office of the Supervising Architect Mifflin E. Bell.[2] The building now serves as the Rochester City Hall.

"It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.[1]

My own addition to Wikipedia reads:
"The building once served as the Rochester City Hall. City Hall has since moved to 30 Church Street, Rochester, NY.

The building now serves multiple federal functions including Federal Court, offices for members of Congress, the Department of Homeland Security Citizenship Service Immigration and Naturalization Services, and a Post Office.'

The first photo in the gallery shows the building name, and is part of the 1973 addition to the historic portion of the building. The next photo in the gallery is the original (historic) building, and the third photo shows the full State Street face of the addition. (visit link)
