Near the Swansea War Memorial are two cairns like structures with standing stone in the centre.
One reads the lines from 'The Fallen' a poem by Laurence Binyon, in both Welsh and English. They are inscribed using copper lettering and are a permanent feature of the memorial side, but separate from the main cenotaph.
The Welsh lettering falls at:- N 53.226907, W 4.129473
The English lettering falls at:- N 53.226923, W 4.129062
The Welsh one reads:-
Ni heneiddiant hwy fel ni a adawyd
Ni ddwg oed iddynt ludded
Na'r biynyddoedd gollfarn mwy

Ni a'r cofiwn hwy.
The English one reads:-
