This Hispanic-looking muffler man has moved from one Tony's Transmissions location to another in Los Angeles. Zippy had a run-in with this macho muffler man.

I had spotted this muffler man in Google Street View at 4327 East Cesar E Chavez Ave. When I went to visit Tony's Transmissions, the muffler man was gone.
I asked the current operator what happened and he said that he had sold the business and the new owners had moved Tony to their other store location on City Terrace. He gave me directions on how to find "Tony", not far away.
I drove to the City Terrace location and there was Tony , inside a fence at the corner of of the lot, where North Bonnie Beach Place intersects. The coordinates used in this waymark arer for the current location of "Tony". I tried to get the same photo angles on "Tony" as in the strip, even though the surroundings are somewhat different now.
When Zippy visited Tony, this muffler man was somewhat confrontational. Zippy suggested that Tony rechannel his rage to something creative like scrapbooking or quilting.

The current place where Tony, the muffler man, should be can be seen in Google Street View. Tony is not there in this view, because he was staill at the old location when the Google car drove by these two locations.
