From the intersection with Smith Rock Way in Terrebonne, travel generally N on US97 for about 0.6 miles. Turn left on Lower Bridge Road and continue roughly 3.7 miles to the corner on the left.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The section corner is on a lava rock outcropping, about 440 feet SSW from the centerline of the road. In 2004, W.C. Kauffman established additional bearing trees, four total, each marked with a yellow tag and with a nail and brass washer stamped COUNTY SURVEYOR.


What property is this mark defining?:
The section corner was set in 1973 during the Crooked River Ranch No. 5 survey over T14S R12E SECS 2 3 11. The Deschutes County Surveyors Office survey number is CS06488.
