The Christian County Courthouse was completed in 1920. The building was designed by architect H. H. Hohenschild in 1913. The three-story brick building is in a Classical Revival style. The building has red brick for its first story and orange brick on stories two and three. The first and second stories are delineated with cast stone elements. The courthouse has entrances on all four sides and above each entrance is a pair bas-relief eagles.
The building now serves as county offices and the courts have moved across the street to the Justice Center which was built in 2002.
The building appears to be in very good condition.
