In Brookline, along the westbound lane of Route 9, is the Longyear Museum. To the left of the driveway into the museum is a granite arch gateway, with the text: "Eddy." and "Pleasant View."

This gateway is along a path perched on a ledge. Behind the gateway is a brick path and a gazebo, and further along the brick path is a fountain in the process of being installed. All these items were moved to this location from her residence in Concord, New Hampshire. The gate is visible from the entrance point. Do check the web site, though when the museum is open to visit.

Mary Baker Eddy was the founder of the Christian Science church and wrote several works and poems, including, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. The Longyear museum is about her life and the founding of the denomination.

The web site for the museum has some pictures of the home, and at least one has the gate in view. In fact, the arch is incorporated into the museum's logo on the web site.
