Now available at the visitor center, and all battlefields, is the twenty-fifth anniversary cancellation stamp, personalized with the Antietam name at the top.

These twenty-five year anniversary cancellation stamps have popped up at all the battlefields I recently visited. The new cancellation stamp at Antietam has the text “Antietam National Battlefield” at the top and “Passport 25th Anniversary” at the bottom. The stamp is available only at the visitor center. When coming inside the building, turn to the right where the gift shop is located. On the counter is the guest book and two stamps, one for the park and one for the 25th anniversary. They have some scrap paper there so you can practice before putting an indelible mark in your passport. Remember to sign the guestbook.
