Wat Koh Loi is worth a visit—if you happen to be on the east coast of the Kingdom of Thailand, with time to spare. It is situated on a small island, connected by a causeway, to the small city of Sri Racha ('C-racha'). The Wat is interesting in itself, being of some age and with a few features, but, as is not uncommon in Thailand, the Buddhist wat is associated with a recreational park. All in all, a pleasant spot to spend an hour or three.

The Wat itself is situated on a small hill on the south of the island. Towards the southern end of the Wat is a small cloister, and inside the cloister is a set of bells. These bells are to be rung by visitors to the Wat, though a small donation is customary. Of interest, the centre and larger bell of the group, has had a few lines of gold painted onto itself.
