This bench is dedicated to two avid hikers, Jon E. Morris and Richard W. Cauthorn. The inscription reads... "Jon and Dick hiked many a mile together and loved this special place".
You can find the bench near the top of Wildcat Mountain at the altitude of around 4100 feet. You'll bear witness to a great view at ground zero. Well worth the hike.
I parked at N45 18.047 W122 03.918 and began my hike from there. At N45 17.995 W122 02.750 I took a left and continued on that trail to the bench. Total hiking distance round trip is a little under 5 miles.
