(PT) Florbela Espanca (Vila Viçosa, 8 de Dezembro de 1894 — Matosinhos, 8 de Dezembro de 1930), batizada como Flor Bela Lobo, foi uma poetisa portuguesa.
A sua vida, de apenas trinta e seis anos, foi plena, embora tumultuosa, inquieta e cheia de sofrimentos íntimos que a autora soube transformar em poesia da mais alta qualidade, carregada de erotização, feminilidade e panteísmo.
Esta estátua está inserida no Parque dos Poetas.
É um projecto da Câmara Municipal de Oeiras que pretende homenagear a cultura portuguesa.
Foi inaugurado em Junho de 2003, proporcionando um espaço de lazer, de cultura e de desporto, procurando cruzar a poesia e a arte dos jardins.

Florbela Espanca (Vila Viçosa, December 8, 1894 - Matosinhos, December 8, 1930), baptised as Flor Bela Lobo, was a Portuguese poet.
Her life, only thirty-six years, was full, though tumultuous, restless and full of intimate suffering which was able to transform into poetry of the highest quality, filled with eroticism, femininity and pantheism.
About Florbela Espanca:
Multifaceted author, she wrote poetry, short stories, a diary and letters, translated several novels and worked throughout his life in newspapers and magazines of various kinds, Florbela Espanca first of all is a poet. It is her poetry, often in the form of sonnet, it should fame and recognition. The main love theme is addressed. What the author is more concerned about love and ingredients that you are romantically involved, loneliness, sadness, longing, seduction, desire and death. Her work also includes poems patriotic sense, including some that is visible in your local patriotism: the sonnet "On my Alentejo" is a glorification of the author's homeland.
Only two anthologies, Book of Sorrows (1919) and Sor Book of Longing (1923), were published in the life of the poet. Others, Blossom Heath (1931), Juvenile (1931) and Reliquiae (1934) came only after his death. All the poetic works of Guido Florbela Battelli was gathered by a volume called Complete Sonnets, first published in 1934. In 1978 had come out 23 editions of the book. The earlier parts of the first publications were reconstituted by poet Maria Lúcia Dal Farra, who in 1994 edited the text Exchanging Glances.
The Florbela's prose expressed through the story (which dominates in the figure of the poet's brother), a diary, prior to his death, and several letters. Parts of his correspondence are of family, deal with other issues related to her writing, or in a sense questioning as to its quality, both in terms of more practical aspects such as their publication. In the different manifestations epistolary qualities that stand out are not always present in the remaining production in prose - naturalness and simplicity.
