Although the sign of the alley merely says Bowling, the place has been known as University Lanes for 40 years. Located in a large plaza, this lane is located right down the road from McMaster University hence the name.

University Lanes features a snack bar (licensed to serve alcohol), has bowling leagues, youth bowling, glow-in-the-dark bowling and has automatic scoring.
