which translated into English means:
"To the Memory of
PIERRE LASSALLA
CORPORAL of the Division Leclerc
Felled August 25, 1944
for the liberation of Paris
at the age of 21 years"
Presumably this plaque marks the spot that Lassalla was killed. No information could be found online about Lassalla.
