During the summer months this area can be very busy with office workers taking their lunch. During the cold, winter months with the wind whipping the spray from the fountain it can be a very lonely place.
The fountain is about 18 metres (60 feet) in diameter. As well as the fountains gushing the water in the air the level of water in the fountain is slightly higher than the edge so there is a continuous overflow effect.
