The Tree of Life is a locally well known mural on the east side of a building at 1 Market Street being used by a popular restaurant, in Northampton. This 16' by 10' mural was created by Alex Cook in 1997. According to the artist's website:
"This is the first mural I ever painted at the tender age of 23! Among its many gifts to me, was the first seed of understanding that art can be a healing, unifying force in our broad and diverse communities. Amen!"
