An old coaching inn at the heart Llangefni and located next to the town hall.
Built c1850 (the date above the sign is 1856) on the site of a much ealier inn, which I believe was called Pen-y-bont inn.
The inn has a large open central courtyard allowing access to the accommodation areas.
The naming of the inn in a bit odd. In Welsh it should be Gwesty'r Tarw but they seem to left it as Gwesty'r Bull / Bull Hotel. Or possibly they are just relying on the image to get across the 'Tarw'?
I found an old image I took in 2007 of the then current sign. I have added this image to the gallery for comparison.
I cannot comment on the interior of the inn as I have never been inside.
