The headquarters for the police, fire and ambulance services are located in a building at 32 Payson Avenue. To the right of the main entrance, the town has placed a memorial to two firefighter who lost their life in the line of duty.

A granite monument is has an image the fire department insignia, their names and dates. It is inscribed:
