Smelt Sands State Park is one of many small beach access parks along the Oregon Coast. The park is a long narrow piece of land extending from U.S. Hwy. 101 to the coastline. The park has a picnicking area, a parking lot, rest rooms, a trailhead for the historic 804 trail, interpretive signs and beach access.
