Statue of Neptune. Neptune is the Roman god of the sea and was inspired in the Greek god Poseidon.
This statue is placed inside a fountain in the Largo de Dona Estefânia.
The statue was placed in the nearby square "Praça do Chile" but was originally from the Loreto Fountain, a fountain in Chiado area in Lisbon from 1771 to 1853.
It´s made of marble.
