There are several different Sundials. They can be made in a wide variety of different types, but a fun, popular and 'interactive' type is this the Human Sundial - which uses a PERSON'S OWN SHADOW, to show the correct clock time.

Scientific Principle(s) being demonstrated:
On a sunny day, stand facing north and stand with your toes lined up to the month of the year. Raise one extended hand straight above your head. The resultant shadow will give you the correct time.

Briefly explain if the experiment was effective for you. Could it have been better?:
The experiment was pretty accurate. I've tested the sundial in the early summer and in early November just after the time change. It was very close both times.

When is the apparatus/experiment available to the public:
The sundial is available every day from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM.
