O cauteleiro, represented in this sculture by Fernando Assis (1987), is an hommage to a popular character of Lisbon. The Lottery Seller. Today, if you walk downtown Lisbon, ride the public transportation or just having a cofee at a local café you can still found someone selling lottery tickets and anouncing loud: "Olha a taluda! Anda amanhã à roda".
