This is one of the many, but less frequently visited beaches in the coastal Taean County on Korea's west coast.

Uihang Beach (의항해수욕장) is on a fairly large cove similar to many that can be found on the west coast near here. The sand is fine and free from large shells or rocks. The surrounding area has small minbak type accommodations and a few smaller motels a bit further away, but no major resort development. Public showers and rest rooms are available during the peak summer season.
This beach is included in the large area of Taeanhaean National Park (태안해안국립공원). Take Route 32, then north past the better known beaches of Mallipo and Cheollipo.
