This trailhead is located on U.S. 101 at the Cook’s Chasm Viewpoint. The other trailhead is located at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center. From this trailhead the trail provides a 3/4 mile loop trip with a closer view of the spouting horn, a large shell midden of mussel shells left by generations of Alsea Indians, the remains of a 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps camp and tidepools.
