Chonburi is a province of Thailand found in the south east of the Kingdom, ~100kms from Bangkok. A populous province, it is heavily industrialised, and it contains the wondrous resort city of Pattaya. The capital of the province is the city of Chonburi located in the north of the province, on the coast.
The town hall for the city is in the government precinct near the city centre. It is a building of some years, but having said that, well maintained and rather stylish. There was no sign of a plaque or history of the building.
