The western Massachusetts Town of Huntington has erected a monument to its veterans near the major intersection of U.S. Route 20 and state Route 112. The monument has a plaque attached a granite base. On top of the base is a bronze sculpture of an eagle. The plaque is inscribed:

THE CITIZENS OF THIS TOWN
IN HONOR OF
HER PATRIOTIC MEN AND WOMEN
WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY
IN TIME OF WAR
