Schrock's General Store - Spartansburg, PA - Quilt Shops on Waymarking.com

Located in Amish country this store is Amish owned and operated. Among the many things sold here Quilting Supplies, needle, thread, cloth, backing, batting and scissors, are one of the favorites. Quilts are in short supply but the items needed to make them can be found here. Quilts can be found in another location about five minutes away by car ot ten by buggy (see next paragraph).

If you are looking for large bolts of cloth just remember what they sell here are colors that fit the Amish way of life. After stopping here I suggest going back out to route 89 and heading towards Titusville (south N41 45.742 W079 40.392) where you will find that house that sells compleated quilts. There is nothing like a fine quilt made by the Pennsylvania Dutch except maybe the one that you have made yourself.

A quick photo of the outside of the building is just fine but please be polite about taking pictures inside and leave the locals out of them unless of course you ask first. They are OK with tourists but face it some of us can be a little careless with the camera.

You will find no phone number for the store because as I said this is an Amish store.
