This is a small, one-acre park located behind the public library in Newport, Oregon, commemorating the centennial of Rotary International and the 50th anniversary of the Newport Rotary Club.

Literacy Park was donated by the
Rotary Club of Newport, chartered in 1955, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, as well as the Centennial of Rotary International.
The one-acre park includes a concrete open amphitheater and a bronze sculpture of two girls sitting on a bench reading books. There is also a dedication plaque mounted on a large rock.
There is no playground or restrooms.
