This beautiful fountain entilted "Fontaine du Point du Jour" has two bronze sculptures on each of it's sides.... one (WMCZMN) "Tigre Terrassant un Ours" depicts a bear brought down by a tiger. The second sculpture (WMCZET) "Limier Abattant un Cerf" depicts a bloodhound standing atop a stag who would appear to still be alive. The stag's mouth serves as one of the founts. The large rectangular pool of the fountain spills over a short wall to a smaller pool.
The artists for both works are Jacques Houzedu (1624-1691) and Balthasar Keller (1638-1702).
