Throughout Luray, Virginia, there are currently 15 murals thanks to the Luray Tree & Beautification Committee which sponsors projects to promote the downtown district. One such mural is the
Norfolk and Western Train Station in the 1940s painted by Jennifer Bradt. The painting depicts the old train depot which has been restored and now houses the
Luray Visitor Center and Chamber of Commerce. The mural shows a N&W steam engine pulling into the station and an old model pickup truck parked on the side. It is located on a wall behind the old Chamber of Commerce on E. Main St. west of the railroad tracks.
Jennifer has done at least eight other murals around town. According to her Facebook page, she is a classically trained artist.
