This old hand pump is located in the historic Fairview Cemetery in Williamstown, New York, USA.

Based on inscriptions on the water pump, the pump was manufactured by the Columbiana Pump Company in Columbiana, Ohio, USA. The old hand-operated water pump is protected under a more recently constructed (1971) wooden shelter. A small brass plaque in the front eaves of the shelter reads:

James L. Harris
1971

Fairview Cemetery is located along Route 13 in village Williamstown. Burials have taken place here since 1834, but it is still an active cemetery. The oldest portion of the cemetery is located directly adjacent to Route 13, while the newer section is back off the road a ways.
