The title of this 1930 bronze work is "Baigneuse se coiffant" which in English means "Bather fixing her hair". It depicts a standing naked woman, her right foot atop a stone with her two hands behind her neck fixing her hair.
The artist is Aristide Maillol (1861-1944). Maillol was a French Catalan artist - influenced by Paul Gauguin. The female form is a constant in his works. Read more about him at (
