Depoe Bay Creek enters the Pacific Ocean through a narrow channel in basalt. There is a small six-acre bay behind the basalt where Depoe Bay Creek and North Fork Depoe Bay Creek join. The city actively promotes this as the world’s smallest navigable harbor with signs and on their web site (visit link) The historic Depoe Bay Bridge crosses the narrow outlet channel of Depoe Bay Creek.
