The flag hangs from an angled pole and the flag is designed to hang vertically. This gives the advantage of the flag being readable in all wind conditions. Rectangular flags, in calm weather, tend to gather at the fly and cannot be positively identified. This flag has no logo, just the simple name "Huntsman" in capital letters.
Due to the shape of this flag some research was done to determine if there is a standard angle that flag poles, mounted on walls, sit at. There is no defacto standard, in the UK at least, and angles tend to be 0° (horizontal). 30°, 45° or 60°.

Henry Huntsman established this firm at No 11, in 1849, and received a royal warrant in 1865 from the Prince of Wales. Since the 1950s, they have been known for a silhouette based on a riding coat and featuring firm shoulders and a nipped, sculpted waist. Huntsman have a reputation for having the most expensive starting price for a two-piece suit on Savile Row; suits start at well over £3,000 (US$5,000) tax included. In Tom Wolfe's novel The Bonfire of the Vanities, the narrator refers to flamboyantly rich Sherman McCoy's jacket, he observes "Huntsman, Savile Row, London. Cost a god-damned fortune."
