The Fojo Adraga is a huge crater in the middle of the cliff that allows observing the sea.

Locals call it the hole of the Fojo and formed a few thousand years after the landslide, caused by the erosive action of rain in the Jurassic limestone layers, especially in fractured zones. The view from above is intimidating as they are about 90 meters until the water below.
The Fojo Adraga is included in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park and is surrounded by blocks of rock in order to warn the presence of this hole. For best viewing of the same an iron fence is installed near the cliff.
