Ode to Kelly Clark
**********************
Law Enforcement Officers we know are never acquaintances of ours, but friends, family, brothers and sisters. We have known many in our lifetime, most nice people. We knew Kelly Clark, se was part of our family of law enforcement friends. Everyone who met her, from school children to senior citizens, loved Kelly. Kelly had a special quality about her that one couldn't help but like. Kelly once said that since she was a little girl she liked helping people, and wanted to take the bad guys off the streets, and the best way was to become a police officer. What greater love for mankind than to lay down your life for strangers, who you want to protect from harm, and help in time of need. Kelly was a lady, an officer, and a true gardian of the people. The name Kelly Clark shall never die, but live in the hearts of those she left behind. Kelly Clark today, tomorrow and forever we salute you, gallant lady, guardian of freedom, libery ane pursuit of happiness. Farewell dear mother, daughter, sister, companion and friend, from all of us who love you.

Born August 10, 1960.
Started Law Enforcement Career with Sierra County Sheriff's Department on September 18, 1990.
Killed in the line of duty on March 4, 1999."
