This historic house (and 4 others in the immediate area) were added to the National Register of Historic Places on Jan 2 ,1988 as the Dixie Highway Historic District. See the original designation report here (visit link)

It is a 1920 two story, three bay Colonial Revival brick residence with a side-gabled roof. The focal point of the exterior is the full height portico that is supported by paired columns. Its distinctive architecture has remained unaltered over the years and it stands at this historic address as a proud reminder of how things used to be in the early 1920's on the Dixie Highway in Kentucky.
