Otter Lake Provincial Park is a smaller park (51 hectares) on Coalmont Road in the interior of BC. It has a day use area at the south end of the lake, with a lovely swimming beach and picnic grounds. The campground is about 5 km up the lake and also has a beach. The lake is popular for fishing and water-skiing as well as swimming.
The area around Otter Lake provides lots of historic interest. There are two ghost towns nearby, Granite Creek and Blakeburn. The old railbed of the Kettle Valley Railway, now part of the Trans Canada Trail, is also close by.
