This huge curling rock is 4.2 m (13.78 ft) across and 2.1 m (6 ft 10.68 in) tall. It is constructed with steel, foam, and fiberglass, with most of the weight in the steel support beams.

The curling rock was erected in 2005 as a tribute to the two local high school teams who on won the provincial championships in 1948/49, 1949/50 and in 1987/88.

David's Father

What is up; and what's is doing?
Our boys are smoothly moving.
Surely there is something brewing.
Is it true they are winning?
They were small, and just beginning,
But their rocks were nicely spinning,
Spinning closer to our hearts.

Johnny down the ice is marching
Stevey with his broom comes charging
Closer to the button barging.
They are sweeping mighty strong!
Whether it be sweet or sour
Will they have the staying power?
To proclaim the final
Can they take it with a song?

There is Mitchell fairly screaming
Popeye like a boiler steaming,
And their eyes are strangely gleaming
While the others take the rap.
Once again our hearts are glowing
While the winds are gently blowing.
And with pride our flag is flowing.
They put Arborg on the map.

God give us strength and give us voice
To assist our girls and boys.
Help them all, to make their choice
Striving for a worthy goal.
It's the younger generation
That will build a stronger nation
And receive the admiration
Of our country, as a whole.
