"L´Oiseau" (The Bird) is a sculpture by of Victor Roman.
Most of Roman´s work rotates around the animal theme (he has several different sculptures called l´oiseau/the bird).
This sculpture was created in 1977 and placed in the Parc des Sources de la Bièvre in Yvelines near Versailles.
The sculpture was withdrawn following the redevelopment of the park and restored later.
Local residents have nicknamed the "Le Dragon" (The Dragon).
Victor Roman (born March 12, 1937 in Martinis - Romania, died April 12, 1995) was a Romanian sculptor.
