The 1898 Ordnance survey map shows this as saying:-

Dunstable 4
St Albans 7 1/2

However the stone is now buried to within a few inches of it's top.
Condition: Worn

Material: Stone

Can not be read. Milestone buried and only the top protrudes from the ground.
