In the outskirts of Kolín town (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kol%C3%ADn) you can find a street called 'U Pekla'. The street has only two houses and leads currently to a gardening colony and brings you to a stream and pond named....? yes, right - named 'Peklo'.
The place was settled long ago - in the stone age. This is evidenced by recent archaeological excavations. They have also found relics from both the Bronze and Iron Age, respectively from the Middle Ages.
There was also a mill, the first mention of which dates from 1327. Right next to the mill was a small restaurant. None of these buildings remain.
