This is the John H. Bass Mansion, also known as the Brookside Library for the University of St. Francis. The building was built as the turn of the century for the sole purpose of becoming the home to John Bass. St. Francis now owns and maintains the structure.
This building can be found on the University of St. Francis campus on Spring Street in Fort Wayne, IN. The campus also has its own lake and a winning football team. The campus property butts up against the Lindenwood Cemetery which is also on the Register of Historic places.
